1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using RemoteFilipino (the “Platform”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Our Role

The Platform facilitates introductions between employers/clients (“Clients”) and remote professionals (“Talent”). RemoteFilipino is not a party to any agreement between Clients and Talent, does not employ Talent, and does not guarantee outcomes or hiring results except where a specific paid RemoteFilipino service page expressly includes a written guarantee. You are responsible for your own diligence and agreements.

3. Eligibility & Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 and able to enter binding contracts.
  • Provide accurate and current information. You are responsible for activity under your account and for maintaining confidentiality of credentials.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach, fraud, or abuse.

4. Paid Plans, Billing, and Guarantees

  • Fees. Paid plans grant access to contact and outreach functionality. Taxes, payment processor fees, and currency conversion may apply.
  • Renewals. Plans renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date. Changes to fees apply on your next term.
  • 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee. For first-time paid customers, if you do not receive qualified matches within 30 days of purchase, email [email protected] within that 30-day window for a full refund of the initial term. The guarantee does not apply to renewals, accounts in breach of these Terms, chargebacks, or abuse/fraudulent use.
  • Priority Placement Guarantee. If you purchase a Priority Placement deposit and are accepted into the program, the 30-day hiring guarantee starts only after onboarding is complete, including profile, resume, salary expectations, availability, and intro video. You must stay responsive, attend scheduled interviews, and remain open to suitable roles matching the information you provided. If you are not hired for a paid remote role, paid trial, or paid contract introduced through RemoteFilipino within that guarantee window, the $97 deposit is refundable.
  • Priority Placement Success Fee. If you are hired through Priority Placement, the $97 deposit is credited against the success fee shown on the service page. For standard marketplace plans, we do not take a percentage of wages or payouts; any terms between Clients and Talent are between those parties.

5. Acceptable Use

  • No false, misleading, or infringing content.
  • No scraping, reverse engineering, or interfering with Platform operation.
  • No harassment, discriminatory conduct, or unlawful activity.
  • No sharing of another party’s confidential information without permission.

6. Client–Talent Relationship

Talent are independent workers, not employees or agents of RemoteFilipino. You are responsible for verifying credentials, legal compliance, classification requirements, and executing agreements directly with the other party. We are not liable for work quality, payments, or disputes.

7. Content and Confidentiality

You retain ownership of content you submit and grant RemoteFilipino a non-exclusive license to host, display, and use it to operate the Platform. Do not post information you consider sensitive unless necessary; we treat posted jobs as non-confidential unless marked confidential and shared only with selected talent.

8. Intellectual Property

The Platform, trademarks, and materials we provide remain our property. You receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the Platform for its intended purpose.

9. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Except for a written guarantee expressly offered for a specific paid service, we do not guarantee specific matches, revenue, hiring outcomes, or uptime. Many customers find qualified talent through the Platform, but results vary and are not guaranteed.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RemoteFilipino and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid to us in the 6 months preceding the claim, or (b) $500.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless RemoteFilipino from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Platform, your content, your agreements with Talent/Clients, or your breach of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for any breach or misuse. You may stop using the Platform at any time; fees already paid are non-refundable except under the applicable written guarantee for the paid service purchased.

13. Governing Law; Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law rules. The exclusive venue for disputes is the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
